Coming This Week - First Innovative Individual Interview and a Big Question Mark

Innovative Individual, what do you guys thing about that as the title for my interview series?  If you haven't noticed I like alliterations, so...On Wednesday we're going to have our first interview, whatever we end up calling it, with my friend Tracey.  She is the owner/heart & soul of Diggin' It, the "indoor, outdoor emporium and local artists market," and oh so much more.

"Tracey Interview 1" - McKinney, Texas
And I'm not quite sure what we're going to do on Thursday yet, but I'm leaning toward Christmas something.  I'm generally not a holiday skipper, but I'm going to start decorating this week and I think I'll take you all along for the ride.
"Ornaments 1" - McKinney, Texas
Before I sign off for today though I have to tell you about my trip to the store yesterday.  First, I live in Texas, just in case you weren't aware, and Texans generally don't do well in adverse weather conditions...any adverse weather conditions, i.e. anything other than complete sunshine and sometimes even then.  Now, before my fellow Texans get riled up that I'm insulting them, guys, I am a native Texan too and you have to admit that it is crazy hazardous to your health to be out on the road when the weather's not perfect down here...and not because of the weather.  Anyway, we have been getting down to and below freezing for the past week or so and Saturday evening it started to sprinkle.  (I know you're all holding your breath now.)  Well, there wasn't much of anything to freeze overnight, so Sunday morning was fine, but the sprinkling continued throughout the day and I had heard that it was supposed to snow a bit overnight.  I didn't think much of it, but when I got to the store yesterday evening you would have thought that we were in for three weeks of bury your house/avalanche educing weather!  There were shelves all over the store that were completely bought out...But it was things like milk (pretty normal), frozen waffles (I guess for the kids, but...), turkey hotdogs (umm...), and onions (so confused).  Seriously, what are you people making?!?

*"Ornaments 1" is for sale through Diggin' It, me, and now various images can be purchased through Fine Art America.
