Boots & Bowties

This past Saturday night McKinney got dressed up to get down in support of Holy Family.

Boots & Bowties took place at Rock Creek Ranch which is a fun, rustic venue in north McKinney that you can rent out.
There were several tables on either side of a dance floor, with a stage at the front of the room and auction items and a bar at the back.

Several local businesses and individuals donated wonderful items for a silent, online auction, as well as a live auction.
There was wonderful food and I'm sorry to say that I do not have the caterer's information.  Hopefully our new friend Kevin J. White, who did the photography at Savor and Sip and was one of the wonderful people who helped put Boots & Bowties on, will read this and give us the caterer's info.

As a thank you for her years of service and dedication, Stephanie (you'll see her in the last photograph in this post), the new head of Holy Family, presented Julie (on the right) with a beautiful piece of art: a heart made out of the finger prints of all of the children at Holy Family.
After all of the eating was done it was time to dance!
It was a fantastic night and hopefully a great deal of money was raised to help Stephanie (on the far right) and her teachers (three of whom are featured here) and staff continue to provide the children of McKinney and the surrounding areas with a solid start to their education!

***Update:  Kevin came through and the caterer was Culinary Mastery 101 and Duryea Johnson was the DJ for the night!  Thank you so much for lending your talents to this event, and thanks for the info Kevin!
